James 1:13-15

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.

James 1:5-8

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven of the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Psalm 17:6-8

I have called upon you, for you will hear me, O God: incline your ear unto me, and hear my speech. Proverbs 4:3,4

Proverbs 3:21-24

My son, let not them (wisdom and understanding) depart from your eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion. So shall they be life unto your soul, and grace to your neck. Then shall you walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble. When you lie down, you shall not be afraid: yes, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.

James 1:26

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridle not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain. (Think about this. By not bridling my tongue, I am deceiving MY OWN heart.)

Proverbs 1:28,29

Then shall they call upon me (wisdom), but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. For that they hated knowledge , and did not choose the fear (reverence, respect) of the Lord.

Proverbs 31:10,11,12

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Psalm 33:11,12

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

Psalm 33:6-9

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap: he lays up the depth in storehouses. Psalm 34:15,19,22

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all. The Lord redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Proverbs 27:17

Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Psalm 34:8,12,13

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile (deceit).

Psalm 34:1,4,7

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. The angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

Proverbs 24:10

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small (narrow). In other words, my foundation is weak, and not stable, if I let the difficulties of the day get to me. I can see that I need to do some "foundation building and repair" by being in God's word more, and looking at the circumstances less.
